Am I the only one here who has yet to have a "new beginning"? I am stuck in the quicksand of just making ends meet and haven't had anytime to even begin to begin. Meanwhile ex is frolicking along with a new gal with not a care in the world. His child support ends this month and he just gets to quit helping me. My youngest doesnt want to do anything and I'm stuck with her?? He was the bad guy in all of this why am I still the only one being punished.... FML it'd be easier to just quit this whole mess of a so called life.

Tell us what is going on with your child. That’s the most important thing you posted.
The XH is always going to be the XH with the same issues he had while you were married. He’s just choosing a different partner to inflict his infidelity and unhappiness and issues on.

How old is your child? If she is legally an adult, you are not "stuck with her.". She pitches in or she moves out.

Often, people treat us the way we allow them to treat us What are some small steps you can take to demand and receive the respect you seek?

Have you thought about counseling? Your children need you.
