Investigating AP

So, I've managed to search court records in the county he lived in before he moved to our area. Foreclosures, evictions, lawsuits, traffic tickets - all fairly indicative of a low life loser.

He's moved around a lot (for obvious reasons), so it's hard to know where to search for more evidence of his hideous past. The Internet is full of scam tools purporting to search across gazillions of databases. What are my next steps? I want to see his criminal record for decades, his marital records, etc...

iPhone location logging?

What is the best way to track an iPhone's location historically? Like a logger that tracks not just where the phone is, but where it's been?

Bonus points if it can run unbeknownst to the Wayward Spouse.

Verizon Family Locator?

Looking for a discrete way to track my WW's phone location. Most approaches would have me using her phone to set it up, then leaving an app behind.

We're all on Verizon and they have a "Family Locator" feature that tracks current location and alerts when folks are moving from somewhere.

it looks like it requires SMS to activate and set up on each phone. Has anyone used this? Is it valuable in keeping tabs on your spouse and teenager?

How silent is the set up? if I get her phone for 30 minutes, will that suffice?
