Not sure who is responsible for Dr. Phil's ever changing costume on the ad on the left side of the page, but it is hysterical! The KISS costume is my favorite (with Dr. Phil in drag a close second)....made me almost spit out my coffee when it popped up!

I must admit though that the clownface and the Michael Myers hockey mask creep me out a bit!😜 Thanks for the chuckles.

The Itsy Bitsy Spider's Giant Mother

I have a garden that is now in late summer neglect. However, there are a few tantalizing pieces of corn remaining on stalks here and there. So I braved the weeds, waded in and started grabbing ears. I felt a weird little tickle on my calf and looked down to see the remnants of a giant hairy yellow and black garden spider's leg disappearing under the leg of my capris. As anyone with a serious case of arachnophobia would do I dropped all of the corn, dropped my drawers in the garden, and ran shrieking at the top of my lungs down thru our yard to my house in my underpants. My daughter was helpful....looked me up, down and around and pronounced me spider free. My son laughed his rear end off, went grudgingly to collect my drawers and the corn, and pronounced me "beyond embarrassing to mortifying". I think I've had my fill of corn on the cob this season. If any of you live in the Northeast USA, that unholy sound was just me.
