I was wondering what y'all thoughts are about the book. I purchased the audible but I fall asleep/get bored when I play it.
I love the affirmations but positive thoughts healing cancer? I know I haven't read the entire book or listened to the entire tape... Maybe I'm dismissing it right away and missing the point?

I read part of that, and felt that a lot of the affirmations seemed great and potentially powerful. But I believe in looking at the whole picture. If you are desperately trying to change your life or overcome something, setting the intention to change and telling yourself something positive and uplifting is not enough. Just like having a remorseful WS isn't enough for a BS to heal. Lots of other components take part.
I like another book by her called Heal Your Body that is basically just a quick go-to guide for affirmations for different ailments. While I stand firm on my previous opinions, I do think there is power in self affirmations in a lot of circumstances.

I dislike this book very much.
I love affirmations in general and do believe that our thoughts can impact our health, but this takes it to an extreme that excludes other realities. I find it very sick person blaming--like if you hadn't thought x you wouldn't have y.

I have this book and find it insightful . I'm not sure I would like the audio.
