Laughed out-loud several times while reading.
No spoilers but it did give me some understanding of why my wife didn't feel connected and so I ended up here.
So kind of the "happily ever after" version of my life.

I read it awhile ago and really enjoyed it. I am a fan of Big Bang so I knew I would like the flavor of it.
I have more than smidgen of Sheldon in me

I really enjoyed The Rosie Project a lot but I didn't like its sequel nearly as much.

I'm feeling pretty cynical about romance these days. A subplot I can handle, but not the main theme. How "romance-y" is it?

It's not overtly romantic. It's worth the read, really.

I loved The Rosie Project! And I, too, laughed a lot as I read - partly because the main character reminded me so much of my own dear, oddball son. :-) It was an uplifting book.
I agree that the sequel was not in the same league as the first book. but even so, I enjoyed it and thought it worth reading. If only because by the end of the first book, I cared enough about the characters in it to want to know what happened next.
