"The Shifting Fog" by Kate Morton. Set in England around WWI, she is a good writer, interesting stories. I also like Susanna Kearsley's books.

Lots of great books! I too, look here for suggestions. My trouble is, I can no longer read a physical book and read only on my kindle. I'm also cheap, so I borrow books from my library and will rarely buy one.

I'm currently reading the Robots and Empire series, and the rest of the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov. Love those Three Laws.

Great topic, has me much more mindful about what I give my attention to and about ready to get off all social media.

Nothing. Fucking nothing. I used to be a voracious reader. Since d-day...no. I don't know why. I miss it. Maybe I use the time I read to be on SI?

Well, I finished The Water's Edge by Sara Gruen (Water for Elephants, which I didn't read). Historical Fiction, WWii, started off really good with a strong, powerful female. I was so mad because by the end of the book, she turned into a damsel in distress needing to be saved by a man.

I am currently reading and devouring Amor Towles A Gentleman in Moscow. It is so beautifully written I can't get enough of it. When done, I can't wait to get my hands on his other book - The Rules of Civility.

LOVED A Man Called Ove and Beartown, same author. A sequel to Beartown is out next month and I've already reserved it.

I'm re-reading all the William Gibson books, because they were prescient back in the day. Now, they are still somewhat valid.

The Expanse, because.

And trying to get some professional stuff again. Lean, Toyota, etc.

Best Recently...A Man Called Ove, Before We Were Yours, A Gentleman In Moscow, and The Residence: Inside the White House.

The Death of Mrs. Westaway by Ruth Ware. It’s recently published, heard a stellar review on PBS. Got it from my local library. A modern day gothic suspense with a stunning plot twist at the end. Set in Cornwall ! Really enjoyed it.

Hope this isn't deemed as "political," but I just finished "Chappaquiddick" and "Chappaquiddick Speaks." Read them in that order, as the first (which the movie was based upon) deals mainly with the nuts and bolts of the shoddy investigation and subsequent cover-up and the second proposes a wholly fascinating theory on what actually happened.

I tore through both in less than a week.

I just sped through "A knight in the seven kingdoms" in a couple days (it's amazing how much time you have to read when you decide to cut other things out of your life).

That is, in case you weren't aware, a fantasy fiction story in the Game of Thrones world, set about a hundred years before the events in GoT.

I enjoyed it, as I knew I would!

How To Walk Away was sensational.
