This was the first book about infidelity that I read. I found it to be short and to the point. Factual, almost black and white. It was easy to read, when I felt like my brain was broken and it couldn't think.

I read some of the things out loud to WH, and it gave us starting points in conversations.

It didn't feel like a self-help book. I wish it had offered more in the way of advice. But it helped me to see that everything I was feeling (even the weirdest stuff) was normal.

Thanks for this, does it focus on action or reflection? Was anything in there likely to be triggery?

It was mostly facts, so one thing I didn't like was that there wasn't any real advice in it. It was like reading a science journal, haha.

As for triggers, I think all books about the subject could be considered to have triggers. Now that I've read several books, I still would say it was the easiest to read.

I would show it to WH and say "see? It says here that this is how I feel. It's true! And it says here what trickle truth is and why you shouldn't do it. And here it says you might be feeling this." We would talk after reading sections and I think it only took a few days. Short read.
