Thank you everybody!!!
I had a great birthday. Dinner with friends Friday night. Lots of shopping yesterday. No cash, but I received a few gift cards and my dear friend made me a birthday cake that was delicious. Also, my Navy son made arrangements with one of his good friends to deliver a gift to me yesterday. Such a sweet thing for him to do.
No one changes unless they want to. Not if you beg them. Not if you shame them. Not if you use reason, emotion, or tough love. There is only one thing that makes someone change: their own realization that they need to.
