I think we should give the seasons new names.

Summer: sweat my ass off.

Autumn: colorful death

Winter: freeze my ass off.

Spring: dodge the potholes and or mud season.

I like that about fall- colorful death. Almost like a haiku.

leaves blow in the wind
the frost begins to set with
colorful death

ok, one too many on the last line I think.

Wasn't it always Bones saying that to Jim? Lol

Now I want to watch the Star Trek movie return home or voyage home. With the whales. But I think I only have that on vhs.

Is it bad that I've got the hots for the actor who plays the new Mccoy? He was also in the second and third Lord of the Rings as one of the Rowan horseman and one of the assasins in the Borne trilogy. Cant think of his name but damn.....what an actor lmao.

(Karl Urban, yeah I looked it up)

I have the first season of Star trek TNG. I want the entire series plus Voyager. Presents to myself this coming Christmas I think.

I also want the New Picard series.

Yeah I'm a trekky. Also love Star wars so....guess I'm a geek lol

I'm more Star Wars (first movie I went to was New Hope and stayed up the day after HS graduation to see The Jedi Strikes Back the day after HS graduation) than star trek (only the even movies was the rule). I did grow up watching the original star trek on syndication as a kid. I've only seen a one or two of the retro star treks and the same of TNG.

Star trek next generation was what my dad and I always watched. We would catch some of the reruns of the original too.

And I do enjoy star wars.

Read all the main Dune books too. Kinda hesitating on the amazon series... prior depictions of it in film were... disappointing.

Wheel of time on amazon changed quite a few things, but, over all got the plot and major characters right. Its hard to condense such a lavishly written series into tv episodes.

So, yes, I am a HUGE nerd. Just ask my metallurgist friends laugh

I want a purse dog.

Hehehe. I could probably fit a Great Dane in my purse hahaha

I am so proud of myself!!! The digital canister filter we had on one tank wasn't keeping good flow. Always with low flow alerts. The filter cartilage for this canister is like $100 and hard to order.

So I got out the good old Fluval FX5, set that up and it's working!!!

Speaking of purse dogs, I am looking for a new purse. I typically beat mine to hell in about 4 years and this one is due for replacement. Typically I get Coach because they're reasonably priced, take a beating and well made. I LOVE real leather.

Anyway, I'm getting tired of the Coach stuff and am looking for recommendations for other good purses in that price range. Seems like to get anything well made and attractive you have to spend big bucks and walk around with their logo everywhere (looking at YOU Louis Vuitton! look ).

Anyway, anyone got some recommendations? I'm looking for something colorful too. My black purse thing has been depressing.

I have more handbags than I know what to do with.

I wear them out until the straps break or zippers go lol

My current purse is massive, not particularly something I would get myself BUT it was a Christmas gift from Big D.

I dont really do anything with a name to it. For me it's about function. Of course now that I am past the little kid mom stage I don't habe to keep extra diapers, binkies, etc in my purse as a backup. Still do the wet wipes and small first aide kit though lol

Have you seen Anuschka bags? They're leather and have various sizes, from cross-body to one you could use for luggage. They can also be very colorful. I have a couple, and they are gorgeous.

My current bag is Guess, and its two predecessors were Michael Kors. Before that, I had a decade long run with Coach. My mom always had Coach when I was a kid, but that was when they were more practical and less fashionable. She had a few that were so heavy it was like carrying a saddle.

Which begs the question.

What do you keep in your purse?

Hehehehe.

I have my wallet. Then my phone wallet for quick trips where I don't want to take my purse.

Small first aide kit.

Hand sanitizer.

Pens.

Small notebook.

Tissues.

Wipes

Advil.

Tylenol

Feminine hygiene products.

Nail clipper and file.

Hair ties and usually a hair clip.

Spare phone cord.

I need to get my purse, I know there's more lol

I have a large Dooney Burk purse with lots of stuff but I leave it at home most of the time and carry a small Michael Kors purse. Just essentials like Driver's license, CC's, and phone. I don't go out enough to carry a large purse.

I have a purse dog. smile Two pounds and five ounces of LOUD, long-hair Chihuahua. Her name is Bella Grace.

I hate carrying purses! My favorite purse I ever had was a Alexander McQueeen. I carry a little lilac wristlet from target with my insurance cards, debit card or money. Also my Burt’s bees colored chapstick and mints. My phone is on a purple lanyard as are my van Keys. My hand sanitizer is a mini bottle attached to my wristlet. When I had my trained service dog she had like saddle bags for my purse stuff. I keep tings like meds in my comb in my center console. I only carry a purse if traveling or going to a doctors appointment with a wait for my e reader also my water bottle. The Doctor purse is a 8 x 10 old Dooney Burke I got on clearance. The traveling purse is a jeans purse.

I am all about comfort since I use a electric wheelchair for big stores my muscles are week from my chronic illness.

Working on training a new service dog Helena. I hate her name it’s all she knows. My DD gets pissed because I call her Alice, the dog. She thinks she is entitled to a say…lol I am having a hard time bonding to her as I keep thinking about my Malibu, which is unfair.

I am going in a actual grocery store tomorrow for the first time since Covid.
