So my Dday was 4 weeks ago and since then my BS has been in denial and aside from the odd question has said they don’t want to know anything. This seems to be not at all good, I have persuaded them to try an IC. Does anyone have any experience of this?
Aside from time any suggestions?

The experts, for whatever that's worth, say people that have been intimately betrayed go through the same stages of grief as they do when someone close to them dies. There are five stages, the first one is denial. You BS has had their reality shifted. They no longer know what is real and what is a lie. They are desperately trying to figure out what's going on. They likely don't trust their judgement either, after all they were wrong about you. Denial helps slow some of the flood of shit pouring onto them into manageable chunks that they can handle.

The other stages are anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Wait a bit and anger will be along soon enough. Prepare yourself.
