Sorry guys - it's just not working today.
I've scanned for viruses (none), rebooted (2x), installed PC fix tool that found TONS of errors, fixed the errors, but computer is still not working correctly.
I think I'm down for the count today...TKO on T_T's computer.

Thanks, everyone. I FINALLY figured out what was causing everything to go blank on FB (at least for me) today.
My AD BLOCKER.
The nerve of FB demanding I let them intrude with their ads!
I disabled the Ad Blocker for FB and voila! - all is right in FB land.
I have literally spent 3+ hours trying to fix this. But, at least I have tuned up my computer and it's working reasonably fast. I was seriously thinking of throwing it against the wall...
