This is the sign of a true narcissist who lives for ego kibbles. You provided her with safety and love for decades and now that's going away. It's not unthinkable to believe her next step will be her rationalizing why you're now driving her into the arms of her POSOM. It's them against the world and only they understand each other.
She's a schemer who will look for loopholes on how she can bring her kids around the POS abuser, and she will go out of her way to paint you the abuser and her the victim.
Don't relent. Never forget you're the prize.
