Looking for something to help me recover from the damage ws has done. I'm 11m post DDay and realize I haven't made much progress in certain areas.
Me: BW. WH had multiple EAs. DDay 1 June 25 2018,-DDay2 4/9/2022. I’d had a hunch for a few weeks. Kicked him out and he found a new friend which was the start of EA3. DDay 4 EA 5/7/2024

Could you expand on what areas you are struggling with? It would make it easier to make book recommendations for you.

If you'd like a book specifically about healing after an affair, I'd recommend Living and Loving After Betrayal by Steve Stosny. It delves into some of the brain changes that come from affair trauma and I found it very helpful.
If you are looking for a book about healing you, I recommend Daring Greatly and Rising Strong by Brene Brown. I found Rising Strong especially helpful.
Good luck!

I just thought of another one after I posted- Option B by Sheryl Sandberg. She wrote it after the unexpected loss of her husband, but the way she wrote about the grief she experienced was very relatable for me. She talks a lot about how hard it was to go back to regular living and some of the mindsets that helped her. I really like this one.
Edited to fix a typo

A book that has helped a lot is “How to make love last” By John Gottman. [Edit: no soliciting]
