I’ve listened to enough of her books to forget where I found it. She talks about the connection between shame and addiction and how they are so connected it’s impossible to tell which comes first. Anyone know where to find it?

She has a way of putting things that I know to be true into words but couldn’t previously describe, that one hit me like I should have seen it sooner. It explains so much. Also, you hear a lot of the same stories if you listen to enough of her books.

Found it. It’s in her podcast about Shame and Accountability. It’s mostly Shame vs Empathy, I’d love it if she would do an episode focusing more on the addiction.
